Description:
The American Heart Association designed the Heart Saver CPR training
to prepare a wide variety of people who,as first responders,may
need to perform cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in the workplace
or similar settings,may need to help someone who is choking,and
thus will be provided a training completion card.
Training
Length: 01 Day(4-6 hours)
Intended
Audience:
Police,Firefighters,Security gaurds,Airline personnel ,Life guards
employees including,restaurants,shopping malls,hotels/resorts,
day-care or senior centers,Nursing homes, Fitness centres and
amusement parks.
BLS
Basic Life Support: BLS Healthcare Provider Training
Training
Description:
The BLS Healthcare Provider training teaches CPR skills for helping
victims of all ages (including doing ventilation with a barrier
device, a bag-mask device, and oxygen); use of an automated external
defibrillator (AED); and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction
(FBAO). It's intended for participants who provide health care
to patients in a wide variety of settings, including in-hospital
and out-of-hospital.

Training
Length: 01 Day (6-8 hours)
Intended
Audience:
Healthcare providers, such as physicians, dental surgeons, nurses,
paramedics, emergency medical technicians, respiratory therapists,
physical and occupational therapists, physician's assistants,
residents or fellows, or medical or nursing students in training,
aides, medical or nursing assistants, police officers, and other
allied health personnel.
Student
Materials:
1. BLS for Healthcare Providers Recommended for licensed or certified
healthcare professionals.
or
2.
Fundamentals of BLS for Healthcare Providers Recommended for non-licensed
providers and those with a minimal healthcare background who are
required to take this course for employment.

ACLS
Provider Training:
Course
Description:
The ACLS Provider training provides the knowledge and skills needed
to evaluate and manage the first 10 minutes of an adult ventricular
fibrillation/ventricular tachycardia (VF/VT) arrest. Providers
are expected to learn to manage 10 core ACLS cases: a respiratory
emergency, four types of cardiac arrest (simple VF/VT, complex
VF/VT, PEA and asystole), four types of pre-arrest emergencies
(bradychardia, stable tachycardia, unstable tachycardia and acute
coronary syndromes) and stroke.

Training
Length: 03 Days (8-16 hours)
Intended
Audience:
Personnel staffing emergency, intensive care or critical care
departments; emergency medical providers such as physicians, nurses,
emergency technicians, paramedics, respiratory therapists and
other professionals who may respond to a cardiovascular emergency.
BLS
training must be completed before taking up ACLS training.

2. ACLS Provider Manual, Required or ACLS Text, Reference
