The Department of Medical Education (DME) is an integral part of HIMS and is in the process of setting new trends in medical education. A curriculum is being developed that encompasses community-based medical education complemented with the ancient wisdom and knowledge of yoga philosophy and therapy.

The DME arranges programs that include regular training visits by experts in various specialities from India and abroad, as well as conferences, workshops, and study groups in selected areas.

The DME will provide an opportunity for individuals from India and other countries to become involved in pre- and post-doctoral academic, clinical and research activities that focus on the development and application of sound preventive and holistic approaches to health and illness, integrating both traditional and modern systems of therapy.

Continuing Medical Education (CME)

Special emphasis is placed on continuing education programs for physicians, nurses, and other health care personnel to keep up - to - date in terms of the latest information and approaches of advancing medical knowledge.
