Every year on account of RDI’s Foundation Day, RDI offers a token of benevolence to its affiliates. In this sequence, this time we met Dr. Prem Kashyap who is a member of Governing Body, CBSE & Chief Executive Director of The Pestleweed School, Dehradun and close associate of Swami ji. It was fortunate to meet a person who had lots of memoirs of Swami ji. Down the memory lane, Dr. Kashyap recollected & shared his past experiences right from his maiden meeting with Swami ji. He met him during a get-together in Dehradun in which Swami ji mentioned about laying the foundation of a big Institute for serving Humanity as well as the Rural Community. Adding on to his interactions, he met Swami ji again at his residence at Himalayan Institute, Jolly Grant. Getting nostalgic Dr. Kashyap shared an anecdote –“One day Swami ji called me to share an idea to open a Public School for the wards of the doctors residing inside the campus and I did plan for it, but after Swami ji left his body, the idea couldn’t materialize.”
